About Us

Integrated Community Work, Inc. (ICW) is a private, nonprofit corporation funded by Dane County, the State Department of Workforce Development, Access to Community Services and contributions from individuals. We provide a variety of supported employment opportunities to individuals with developmental disabilities.

ICW coordinates the training and employment of supported employees in such areas as food service, child care, retail and office work. An assessment of interests and skills of supported employees provides employers with a productive and significant addition to their workforce.

ICW provides a Job Development Specialist and a job coach for each employee to ensure maximum results at no charge to the employer.

The ICW staff is composed of quality individuals who are trained to provide clients and employers with support and assistance. ICW staff members participate in ongoing staff development activities relating to health and safety, training techniques and disabilities related issues. Both the consumer and the employer can be confident of the skilled handling of even the most difficult situations.
