Forget Me Not Days®

Volunteers from Banker's Life and Casualty Company take to the streets on May 16 and 17 to raise funds to benefit the Alzheimer's Association, South Central Wisconsin Chapter, in the company's annual Forget Me Not Days® event.

Studies show that one in eight Americans over 65 and nearly half of Americans over 85 already live with Alzheimer's. Every 72 seconds, someone in America develops Alzheimer's. But you can make a difference.

Powerful Tools for Caregiving

Powerful Tools for Caregiving is designed for family caregivers (not professional caregivers) of frail elders or persons with dementia or other chronic disease, long-term illness or disability. Learn skills to help you in your caregiving role: reduce stress and guilt, set goals and solve problems, and take care of YOU. Cost is only $10.00 for all six classes and includes The Caregiver Helpbook. Help with respite care available if needed. Advance registration requested. Specific activities include memory enhancement activities and intellectual exercises, tai chi-based exercise, and opportunities for creative expression. There is no fee. To participate, you must have a diagnosed case of mild memory impairment from your doctor.
