A direct donation
Any size donation is always appreciated. You can easily make a direct donation in one of two ways:

1. Donate online using a secure server through the National Alzheimer's Association website. We'll be notified of your gift.

2. Or, send a check or a note indicating your credit card number and expiration date (we accept Master Card and VISA) through the regular mail to:

Alzheimer's Association

517 North Segoe Road, Suite 301

Charitable gift annuity
A charitable gift annuity is an agreement between a donor and a charitable organization in which a donor transfers an asset to a charitable organization, such as the Alzheimer's Association, and the charitable organization returns lifetime payments to the donor. Annuity payments are backed by all the assets of the Alzheimer's Association so the donor can be confident that the Gift Annuity will provide income he/she can count on.

In addition, there are tax benefits that add value to the Gift Annuity. Upon the donor's death, the Alzheimer's Association uses the remaining gift assets to benefit the charitable purpose intended by the donor. A legacy of good work lives on in the community in the donor's name.

To receive a personal CGA calculation, contact the Miriam Boegel, Development Director, at 608-232-3409 or 800-272-3900.

Donate your vehicle
Do you have a vehicle that needs a new home? Consider donating it to the Alzheimer's Association of South Central Wisconsin. Help a great cause and get a tax deduction at the same time. Cars4Charities is the non-profit organization that processes car donations for our organization. Cars4Charities will take your information, arrange for the pick-up of your vehicle(s), provide you with tax documentation and sell your vehicle. When we receive the dollars from the sale, we will notify you via letter. Cars4Charities can be reached at 1-866-448-3487. If there are any questions, please call the South Central Wisconsin Alzheimer's Association at 1-800-272-3900.

Giving at your workplace
The South Central Wisconsin Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association is supported in part by paroll giving campaigns. Payroll giving makes it easy to make a gift to the Alzheimer's Association.

The joint fundraising efforts of United Way and Community Health Charities start in September. There are two ways you can support the Alzheimer's Association through your workplace campaign.

1. Check off the Alzheimer's Association, listed under Community Health Charities funded agencies. Or, on your United Way donor form, you can write in South Central Wisconsin Alzheimer's Association Chapter, Agency #324.

2. You can contribute to us through the United Way anywhere in the United States.

If you need more information, please contact the Community Health Charities office at 608-294-1086 or Amy Gallagher at the Alzheimer's Association at 608-232-3401 or 1-800-272-3900.

Leave a lasting legacy: bequests or planned gifts
Memorial or tribute gifts are a wonderful way to honor a loved one and at the same time provide assistance and hope to other persons with Alzheimer's disease, their families, and future generations.

Wills and trusts: You can remember the Alzheimer's Association, South Central Chapter in your will. Many people are surprised to learn that the planned gifts they make to the Alzheimer's Association can often provide them with significant tax benefits. A bequest, through your will or living trust, is the simplest form of charitable estate planning.

Contact Miriam Boegel at 608-232-3409 or 800-272-3900 for more information.

Special events
Sponsor, donate to and/or join us at our annual special events that raise funds for the Alzheimer's Association! Annual events include the Wine and Roses Festival (April), "A Round To Remember" Charity Golf Event (August), and Memory Walk (September in seven area counties). Please contact Miriam Boegel, Development Director, for more information at 608-232-3409 or visit our website.

Volunteering at the South Central Wisconsin Chapter
Volunteers are the backbone of Alzheimer's Association Chapters nationwide, and volunteering your time at the South Central Chapter is a great way to make a difference in the lives of Alzheimer families in our local communities! If you would like to volunteer, please call us at 608-232-3400 or 1-800-272-3900 to discuss the many different ways you can get involved.
