Who We Are
The Ancient Earthworks Society was formed in 1985. AES is dedicated to the mapping, study, and preservation of Indian Mounds and related landscaped features. We help inform and educate the public about Wisconsin's unique, world class cultural heritage.
Members are notified by mail or e-mail of all meetings, field trips and other society functions.
Meeting and site reports, as well as periodical articles, will be posted on the website. Contributions of written articles by members will be considered for print by the AES board of directors.
AES officers meet periodically to plan meetings and other events. Members are welcome to attend--just contact an officer for date and location of the next meeting. Recommendations for programs or speakers are always welcome. Please e-mail us your suggestions.
