Volunteer Opportunities

General Help

We are always looking for general help with each event. We are also looking for more people to volunteer to be Block Captains. If you want to get invovled, please contact the Coordinator of the event you are interested in working with. If you wish to become a Coordinator or Volunteer for other events, please contact Association President Gayle Langer.

Playground Project

We want to move forward with our Playground projects, so I am asking people here in Cherokee to take some time to think about helping us in the future: Your expertise, your concern for the kids, your ability to help us raise money, and your possible pull with the City, we could sure use you on our Park Commission to help us get our own Park back up to par. So much needs to be done, so keep this on your radar screen. I'll be setting up a meeting with City staff regarding our Park soon and hope you will join us then.
