History
The Friendship Force was first established in Georgia in 1977 by Wayne Smith. Friendship Force of Wisconsin, one of the largest in the U.S., had its first exchange in 1978. The international organization is one of the largest international exchange programs in the world, with 350 clubs in nearly 60 countries.
