The mission of Friends of Schumacher Farm is to provide a living history museum and nature conservancy that offers a representation of Dane County's rural heritage through preservation, restoration and education.
The Friends of Schumacher Farm invites everyone to visit and participate at the park. The Friends is a general membership non-profit organization open to all, and led by a volunteer Board of Directors. The Friends coordinate volunteers in activities to accomplish the goals of preservation, restoration and education. The Marcella Schumacher Pendall Trust and Dane County Parks Department are also partners in these efforts.
