VISION 2020 CAMPAIGN

Vicky Selkowe of the Wisconsin Council on Children and Families (WCCF) will present the VISION 2020 CAMPAIGN, which is a joint effort of WCCF, the Wisconsin Head Start Association, and the Wisconsin Community Action Program Association. The campaign is to raise awareness about child poverty and its impacts on Wisconsin, to highligh policy solutions and to engage residents, advocates and policymakers in support of policies that will end child poverty in Wisconsin by the year 2020.
There will also be a report on the state-wide Wisconsin HUNGER SUMMIT, which took place in Stevens Point on October 4th.
The meeting will be at United Way of Dane County, 2059 Atwood Avenue, from 2:00-4:00 PM. There is plenty of parking next to the building.
