2008 Festa Queen Named!
Congratulations to Christy Pullara, named 2008 Festa Queen. More >> And, speaking of Festa Italia...
Festa Italia will be held once again this year at McKee Farms Park in Fitchburg May 30, 31, and June 1st. The IAWC will be serving a pasta dinner on Friday evening and other items throughout the weekend. Remember, the funds we raise help support our annual scholarships for graduating high school seniors. Please mark these dates on your calendar and plan to join us for a fun filled weekend of Italian celebrations! Bring your families and friends as a good time will be had by all!
2008 Scholarships Awarded
This year's scholarship recipients have been chosen and will be honored on stage at Festa Italia on Sunday June 1st. The committee had a difficult task in narrowing down the scholarship winners from 18 extremely qualified applicants. We encourage you to come to the ceremony at Festa Italia honoring these special young people. Many thanks to committee chair Marcia Smecko and committee members Mary Troia, Sue Bartelt, Polly Marshall, Jean Musillami, and Sister Toni Palermo.
