Department of Health and Family Services
Department of Health and Family Services and the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection administer the WIC farmers'Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) and the Senior FMNP. Vendors are asked sign up to accept drafts from customers to pay for fresh fruits, vegetables, and fresh cut herbs.

This program helps both the vendor and the customer. The customer gets fresh vegetables for better nutrition and the vendor has incresed sales.
