Madison Marathon Volunteer Opportunities
May 24, 2008: Volunteers are needed on Saturday to assist with registration at the marathon health & fitness fair during the hours of 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. and at Alliant Energy Center at the finish line for set up.

May 25, 2008: Volunteers are needed on Sunday in various jobs for the marathon, half marathon, 5K,10K and kids races. Jobs include registration for the kids race on the Square; run course pointers; bike escorts; finish line (assist with collecting timing chips, handing out t-shirts, medals & water); runners food tent at the finish line; help distribute sweat bags; course/festival clean up; course/festival take down; and help at numerous water stations along the course.

Taste of Madison Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers work a 3 or 4 hour shift and receive a cool t-shirt and free food coupons to visit the participating restaurants. You also get to enjoy great live music while you work!

There are many positions available that allow you to sit down for the entire shift or stay in the shade of a booth tent. Thank you for your interest in volunteering!
