Volunteer Opportunities
Early Childhood Classroom Volunteers
- Assist early childhood teacher in implementing age appropriate activities with young children of culturally diverse families.
- Ages: 3-5
- This program meets on Tuesday and Thursday 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the DCPC-Head Start building, 2096 Red Arrow Trail, Madison, WI 53711.

- Thank you for your interest in giving to the Even Start Family Literacy Partnership. Your community is successful because of generous people like you! Your donation will provide literacy training for parents and children or a first book for parents and children to read together.
- The Even Start Family Literacy Partnership is a local program under Dane County Parent Council, Inc. Your donation is tax exempt. To donate, please print the form and send it with your donation to the Even Start Family Literacy Partnership.

Infant & Toddler Classroom Volunteers
- Assist infant and toddler teacher in implementing appropriate activities with infants and toddlers of culturally diverse families.
- Ages: birth-2
- This program meets on Tuesday and Thursday 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the DCPC-Head Start building, 2096 Red Arrow Trail, Madison, WI 53711.
School-Age Level Classroom Volunteers
- Assist school age children with homework
- Tutor children of limited English families to enhance school achievement
- Engage school age children in structured games
- Contribute your own ideas in creating interesting and fun group activities
- Ages:6-8 & Ages:9-13
- This program meets on Tuesday and Thursday 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the DCPC-Head Start building, 2096 Red Arrow Trail, Madison, WI 53711.
Translators
- Assist program by translating flyers, forms, and letters from English into Spanish and Hmong. Also need oral translators for meetings and presentations.
